Op 9 september 2022 promoveerde Coreline Burggraaff aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam op haar proefschrift, getiteld ‘18F-FDG PET as biomarker in aggressive lymphoma: technical and clinical validation’, onder begeleiding van promotoren prof. dr. J.M. Zijlstra-Baalbergen (afdeling Hematologie, Amsterdam UMC) en prof. dr. ir. H.C.W. de Vet (afdeling Epidemiologie en Data Science, Amsterdam UMC), en copromotoren prof. dr. O.S. Hoekstra en prof. dr. R. Boellaard (beiden afdeling Radiologie en Nucleaire Geneeskunde, Amsterdam UMC). In deze proefschriftbespreking worden de belangrijkste bevindingen van haar onderzoek besproken.
